Living Vicariously Through My Family
California

My California (and only) brother, Paul, wallowing on his drool infused carpet.
Bryn and Maya thoughtfully portray the joy of discovery in a heartrending dramatic rendition of 'Window Treatment'.
In this epic of modern theater, Eugenia, played impeccably by Maya, must leave the rural stoat factory
of her upbringing to pursue her dream of life in the big city in the exciting world of vole
manufacturing. Unfortunately, the road to success in voles is paved with potholes.
Eugenia, caught up in the Unionization drive at the voleworks, is drawn inevitably into conflict
with the heartless plant owner Berka, played tenderly by Bryn. Berka thwarts Eugenia's every attempt
at worker solidarity with callous cruelty, while stealing away Eugenia's beloved binky in a desperate
bid for victory through complete demoralization and absolute emotional obliteration. Luckily for both
characters, the greater good of the community is assured as Eugenia and Berka collapse together in a
fit of giggles at the onset of a parentally induced ticklefest.

My California nieces, Bryn (giving) & Maya (receiving CPR).

My oldest niece, Maggie, ponders the blueness of frosting.
Robert, the oldest, and most dignified of my nieces and nephews, discusses his latest recipe.
As one can well see, he would make a great Ambassador to the United Nations.
